# Adding EducationRootCa for Zscaler SSL inspection (Ubuntu)

### From a Windows Server:

1. Export the educationRootCa from the server
2. Make sure it's named educationRootCa.crt
3. Copy educationRootCa.crt to the ubuntu server:

> scp .\\educationRootCA.crt username@hostname:/home/username/

### From the Ubuntu Server

1. Install ca-certificates

> sudo apt-get install -y ca-certificates

2. Create the extra certs dir

> sudo mkdir /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/extra

3. Copy to cert to the dir

> sudo cp educationRootCa.crt /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/extra/

4. Update the certificate store

> sudo update-ca-certificates
